Today we Welcome Capa to the Sanctuary
What a grotty day it is weather wise today. The rain is pouring down and I think the waterproofing in my coat has gone as I am wet through. But through it all we have a new arrival as today we welcome Capa to the sanctuary.
Capa is a 12 year old Trakehner mare who has come to us due to a problem with her right eye. Over the next few weeks we will assess the problem and see how she gets on.

Capa has a very sweet nature and took to the other guys straight away.
She has traveled to us today from Cirencester, about 80 miles from the sanctuary. Her original home was Kidderminster, about 30 minutes away.
The travel report from James our driver, was that she loaded very well after a quick sniff at the horse box, and traveled extremely well and very quietly without any problems whatsoever which is always a bonus.
Welcome Capa to the sanctuary.
